There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cocktail bartender to join us at the No/6 Bar and Lounge, St James Hotel, St James Street, Nottingham NG1 6FJ
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic bar person with cocktail experience to join our team! We need this person to be enthusastic and passionate about drinks as well as having excellent inter-personal skills.
The main purpose of the job
To assist and support the hotel providing a good service to guests, by way of serving beverages, food and also assisting hotel reception as necessary.
The scope of the job
The role is required to work alongside the other hotel staff members, in particular the kitchen and hotel reception and have significant contact with hotel guests.
Other tasks of the job
Main tasks include:
Serving hotel guests’ needs in regards on the bar aswell as other needs, for example providing assistance with luggage, delivery of items to bedrooms.
Serving guests with room service food and beverages under guidance from the F&B or Bar Manager and in compliance with food safety and alcohol licensing requirements.
Cleaning areas of the hotel
Washing dishes, glasses and crockery
Physical and Social Conditions
This role will work mainly late or evening shifts.
The role may also include having to carry and transport large or heavy items such as luggage or food trays etc
Cocktail making experience is required and smart presentation is important.
Rate of Pay - £7.50/hour
Hours of work between 25-40 hours per week, usually 8 hours per shift. Zero hour contract.
