Furniture fitter general assistant space planner
Description
We are a successful, independent, Limited company based in Evesham Worcestershire, where we have been trading for almost 17 years.
An enthusiastic self-motivated individual is required to initially work along side the
Managing Director to assist in the day to day running of the company.
The hours are negotiable of minimum 25 and 35hrs a week. (Some overtime will also be available).
The role will include a variety of tasks including. office furniture installations, office space planning and design, (training given) general deliveries to customers of furniture, unloading of furniture deliveries that arrive at our warehouse and liaising with suppliers and customers.
The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate an ability to sell furniture in the showroom and learn the varied products we sell to customers visiting us. (A sales background is not essential as training will be provided). However the successful candidate must be of smart appearance and display an enthusiastic disposition.
The space planning element will require someone who is competent with computers (drawing package an advantage, PCON, CAD etc).
Other elements will include maintaining the office, warehouse and showroom to a good clean and tidy standard, along with maintaining and cleaning the company van.
This is a varied role that requires a fit person with a clean driving licence who is also able to work on their own initiative carrying out a multitude of tasks that is required.
