Junior Event Sales and Coordinator for large wedding and conference venue
Description
The Auction House is looking for a new member of staff to join the office and events team to assist with event sales and coordination.
The venue was opened in 2007 and can claim to be one of the biggest venues in Herts, Beds and Bucks with capacity for upto 1000 guests and 220 car parking spaces. We hold over 100 events a year, from Asian Weddings to corporate fashion shows, we provide an unparalleled serviced through our experienced catering and events team.
Key duties
Assisting senior managers with organisation of conferences, social weddings and asian weddings
Liaising with suppliers
Office administration and keeping records up to date
Assisting managers with tasks
Adhering to planning schedule, policies and guidelines
Working with Events Manager to help run events
Organising and conducting client showarounds
Eligible to work in the UK
40 hours a week with some unsociable hours and weekend work required. Work times require flexibility to cover busy periods.
Salary £16250 gross per annum
