Family owned Garage Services Company requires a mature bookkeeper to keep track of daily office tasks. We are a very busy commercial vehicle specialist, due to the high volume of work we now are seeking a bookkeeper approximately 5 hours a day over 3 days a week (flexible) to help them with the daily running of the office, answering calls, invoices and suppliers integration etc...
Primary responsibilities
All aspects of purchase ledger including payment of suppliers.
Invoicing and credit control.
Bank reconciliations of both general accounts and client account.
Preparation of cash flow and scheduling of all payments to keep within budget.
Preparation of monthly P&L and BS accounts, including prepayments and accruals.
Production of various other management reports.
Quarterly VAT returns.
Year-end procedures - reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, preparation of information for external accountants.
Approving and processing expenses.
Ad-hoc administration and tasks.
Candidate Profile
Sage 50 experience a necessity.
Numerate.
Experienced bookkeeper with good knowledge of accounts.
Strong I.T. skills.
Confidential.
Prepared to take responsibility.
Self motivating and good at prioritising.
Not easily phased.
