This fireplace is around 100 years old. It was with our previous house when we bought it, in an old cottage attached to the property. As it was covered in layers of paint, we had it sandblasted and re-blacked but it was never re-installed in our home as we intended. It has been in heated, dry storage for the past 15 years and is in excellent condition, apart from needing a light wash to clear off any dust.
