About the role:
As the Finance Officer you will be responsible for the accounting process, which will include processing purchase & sales invoices, chasing payments, daily bank reconciliation, managing employees expenses both company credit cards and personal, calculating accruals and prepayments, managing the payroll process, keeping the cashflow forecast up to date, managing the VAT returns, and preparing monthly management reports.
As well as the accounts you will also be responsible for arranging all aspects of travel for employees, maintaining office supplies, answering phones, opening and distributing post. You will also organise social events and company fun days, as well as general filing, scanning and diary management.

About you:
As the Finance Officer you will be able to input accurate information, be self motivated, organised and able to prioritise your workload. You will be able to communicate effectively with managers and staff at all levels. You must also have experience using computer systems. Ideally you will have a hands on approach and be happy to undertake any other duties that may be requested from time to time.
Essential Criteria:
Previous bookkeeping experience
Previous experience working in an office environment
Able to communicate effectively with Managers and staff at all levels
Ability to act professionally and ensure confidentiality at all times
Able to prioritise and have a high level of organisational skills
Be self motivated and have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Previous experience of accounting software
Must be able to consistently input accurate information
Take pride in their work
IT literate (Word, Excel, accounting packages)
Adaptable
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience of using Xero software
Previous experience in Atlassian tools, Jira and Tempo
AAT / Part qualified
ACCA / Part qualified
CIMA / Part qualified
